Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you apply for a role, we collect: first name, last name, date of birth, email address, WhatsApp number, city and department, nationality, ID / cedula number (optional), referral source, work history and education, role-specific question answers, availability preferences, MINSA food-handler card status, and any files you upload (CV, cover letter, certificates, photo, portfolio).

When you browse the site we collect anonymous usage metrics (page views, language, approximate country from IP) through Google Analytics and our own tracking. We do not use cookies to personally identify you outside the application process.

2. How we use your information

Information you share in an application is used solely to evaluate your candidacy, communicate with you about the process, and archive the outcome in our internal HR systems.

Traffic metrics are used to understand how people find our open roles and improve the site. They are never linked to a specific application.

3. Who we share it with

Your information is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 and R2) under our account. Internally, only the HR team and NicaRon, S.A. leadership have access to application records.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. If you advance in the process, we may share relevant information with referenced contacts (with your consent) or with our internal Field Staff Management System (FSMS).

4. How long we keep it

Completed applications are kept for up to 24 months after the final decision so we can consider you for future roles. If you request deletion sooner, we comply.

In-progress (unsubmitted) applications are kept for up to 6 months from the last activity and then automatically deleted.

5. Your rights

You can ask at any time to: (a) see what information we hold about you, (b) correct inaccurate information, (c) delete your application and associated data, (d) restrict use of your information for candidate evaluation. Email hr@ron.com.ni and we respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide. Admin passwords are stored hashed. Uploaded files are validated and stored encrypted at rest within Cloudflare R2. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage. This may set cookies in your browser. You can block these cookies via your browser settings or privacy tools without affecting the application process.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of the document, and for material changes, we'll notify you by email if you have an open application.
